Cause: Problem in Registry
Settings. a. If you are using ArcView Single User, type ArcView_Installed
and press Enter. 6. Double-click the entry you just added 7. In the Edit String window, type TRUE and press Enter 8. Exit the Registry Editor. 9. Click Start > Programs > ArcGIS > Desktop Administrator > Software Product. On the right side of the Desktop Administrator window, you should have the Desktop Administrator options available. |

How can I connect to a license server through a
firewall? |

Following modification to the license file and
firewall is needed to connect to a license server through a firewall.
Secondly, open the Server and Vendor port through
the firewall. The server port is the last number on the SERVER line in your
license file, by default it is 27005. The vendor port is the port you
defined in the first step, 27009 in the example. |
